Small Favor (The Dresden Files, Book 10)
now available as a download on Amazon
| No one’s tried to kill Harry Dresden for almost an entire year, and his life finally seems to be calming down. For once, the future looks fairly bright. But the past casts one hell of a long shadow.
An old bargain has placed Harry in debt to Mab, monarch of the Winter Court of the Sidhe, the Queen of Air and Darkness-and she’s calling in her marker. It’s a small favor he can’t refuse…one that will trap Harry Dresden between a nightmarish foe and an equally deadly ally, and one that will strain his skills-and loyalties-to their very limits. It figures. Everything was going too well to last… |

This is great. Any dates for when the others will be available as downloads?
The book is also up on Audible.com, (which is what Amazon will send you to.)along with all five Alera books. Making it a great deal for anyone who uses Audible’s “Credit” system.
As for when the others will show up, Penguin Audio made Small Favor and all of the Alera audios. Buzzy made the first four Dresden books and, from what I understand, will make the rest of the books. So that all depends upon whether or not Buzzy makes a deal with Audible.com.
Jessie I have it on good authotity that Buzzy will be making their books avaiable for download soon. Not with Audible but with another company. As soon as we have the dates we will send a newsletter out letting everyone know about it.
That would be great just for the convenience value. EX: I got the full set of discs for Small Favor last year and ripping that many discs took a while. And then there’s all the individual tracks to deal with or merge. At this point, even MP3 CDs (like the ones I was able to get for other DF books) just seem like a waste to me. Once I have them in iTunes, I don’t need the discs anymore except as backup and there are other ways to do that.
Even if the other company can’t go down to Audible’s member prices, Buzzy’s prices are still better than the $40+ per book seen elsewhere for audios. So, as long as the company Buzzy uses doesn’t have a worse DRM scheme than Audible’s, I’m in.
